Solution: The resultant percentage will be the weighted average of the percentages of the above two stocks.

=> $$\frac{500\cdot\frac{20}{100}+200\cdot\frac{20}{100}}{500+200}\cdot100$$

=> $$\frac{100+40}{700}\cdot100$$

=> $$\frac{140}{700}\cdot100$$=> 20%

Therefore, B is the correct answer.
