Take numbers in examples, 16 is 8 times another number 2, the percentage that 2 is less than 16 is

= [(16 - 2)/16] × 100 = [(14)/16] × 100 =
87.5%. There's typo in (B)
(A) 90%

(B) 87.5%

(C) 66.66%

(D) 12.50%

(E) 40%
m = 8n

(1/8)m = n

m - (7/8)m = n

7/8 is the same as 87.5%.

The correct answer is B, which in the original post contains a typo.
