I'm looking to find an MBA progam which would have coursework or even a concentration specific to the study of commercializing new technology, perhaps in the energy industry. Any thoughts??

I'll be the first to admit I don't know much about the program I'm about to recommend you look into, but I know that we have a new program called a Masters in Technology Commercialization here at McCombs. The link to the program is below:

It may be a good fit, especially since UT is well regarded for energy-related programs. It's probably worth it to reach out to them with more specific questions.
If you are set on an MBA, I believe the McCombs MBA does allow you to take MTSC classes as part of your two years.
Hope that helps.

Thanks brianm. It's funny you should say that because I discovered the MSTC program at McCombs this week and then realized that I missed the application deadline for this year.
I guess I'll continue researching my options for now. But, thanks again.
