Profile Evaluation

I see this an older inquiry but I am new to this BeattheGMAT site although not new to MBA Admissions! I see that we have in common fairly new to this site- but thanks so much for your inquiry and I will say right off the bat there is something that will give you a nice look: you are from Venezuela and you are female so right there you will get some attention!

Now the more important question- is will you present yourself in the best possible light when you get your day in the sun? And that's where admissions consultants can really help you present yourself in the best way. Work Experience: 4 months in a BTL company as account assistant (1 month) and then executive (3 months), this short experience I donÂ´t know if I should include, 1 year of Commercial Trainee Program at NestlÃ© Venezuela, currently Commercial and Digital Communications Specialist (Total experience for the moment of application: 1 year and 9 months at NestlÃ©, for the moment of starting the MBA 2, 5 years at NestlÃ©, last year as Consumer Marketing Manager, this will probably not be by the time of the application)

Your extracurriculars are fine- not most compelling ever but enough to show some leadership.[/b]
Extracurricular Activities: 5 years in the university Model UN program (as delegate, secretary, head delegate and faculty advisor to years). 2 years in a foundation called Embajadores Comunitarios, as volunteer and as Program Coordinator (part of the executive committee), and 5 years as volunteer in a foundation called Un DÃa Juntos, Currently Vice-President of the Alumni Association of my university (Universidad Metropolitana) Also I was an English and math tutor for children (should I include it in my application?)
Miscellaneous: prize for academic excellence and student participation in my university.

What do you think of my profile, how much should I be aiming to on my GMAT Score? For your demographic if you can score a GMAT upwards of 650 I think you will get a lot of attention from top 10 - 20 schools and you should shoot a little higher if you want to be competitive at the highest level programs. And most importantly- why do you want an MBA and how will help you with your post MBA career goal? This needs to be answered in a compelling way.
