profile evaluation

by harsitgandhi » Thu Nov 12, 2015 7:57 am
Hi

am going to apply to b schools for R2, my profile is as mentioned below:

GPA: 3.9/4.0 (as converted for US standards)

GMAT: 680 (Q: 48 V: 35)

Professional Exp: almost 5 years

I have diversified experience.
I have actually done MBA in marketing after graduation.
Then i had 1.5 years of experience in sales for one of the biggest public sector banks in India.
As the profile was, although challenging, only sales oriented, then switched to another public sector company which is in logistics field(warehousing) since more than 2 years back, in middle management as 'Group-A' officer handling a very large capacity unit, with excellent ratings from my superiors.

I, now for carrier progression, feel that i need to do MBA in Supply Chain Management/Logistics from reputed international b-school to expand my horizon in the industry. My interest is in Canadian schools because my brother is citizen of the country.

Extra curricular activities:
-Won kabaddi championship at district level.(certificate available)
-Participated and passed elementary and intermediate drawing exams taken at state level.(certificates available)
-Was 4th at national level event for technical model presentation.(no certificate)
-Participated in various elocution competitions, drawing competitions, paper presentations, model presentations, etc. (some certificates available)
-Am active member of an NGO since last 1 year which organizes programs for people of poor villages on how to improve their way of life (financial as well as social).

So here are my queries:
1) Please suggest me the best colleges available for SCM/Logistics specialization across the world with my present GMAT and GPA score.
2) of the ones in Canada(target schools being Ivey, Queens, Schulich, HEC Montreal and Mcgill uni.), considering myself from the group of highly competitive pool(male Indian Engineer), what are my present chances of getting in?
