Hi there,

Thanks for posting. Overall your profile is somewhat less common than some, which can be a plus if you position yourself well in your application and can make a compelling case for WHY you need the MBA. The biggest thing you can do right now to help your chances is likely re-taking the GMAT, as you mentioned. That would really boost your chances at schools on your list like Cornell and Darden for example. And with your GPA slightly lower than most averages, GMAT can become more important. Military experience can be a plus if you can successfully show how you've developed leadership and teamwork skills through your experiences, AND if you can explain again how and why you want the MBA and what you'll do with it afterwards. I also don't know much about your extracurricular activities, involvement, community experience etc, so consider that aspect as well.
