Profile Evaluation Request

by ashfrd » Mon Apr 17, 2017 6:55 pm
Hi,

Kindly evaluate my profile for NTU, IIM-A/B/C & ISB
I took GMAT recently and got 680.
(Verbal-33,Quant-49,Analytical Writing-3 & Integrated Reasoning-3).
10th Class- 86% CBSE Board India
12th Class-80.6% CBSE Board India
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering National Institute of Technology-Bhopal India , 78.4%
I have 5 years of experience in Ford Motor Company.
3 years worked as New Vehicle Program Engineer (Production Planning & Facility Implementation)
2 years worked as Process Engineer (Product Quality & Delivery Domain)
Is the above GMAT score & profile good enough to apply for above mentioned colleges?
Or do I need to give GMAT again for better score.
Post MBA Goal- I want to continue in Automobile Industry.
any advice or directions is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Is your school selection prioritized in the order you wrote them? If so, the good news are that I think your chances are best at NTU. However, for the other two, I am not sure your profile is competitive enough at this point. You might want to consider a retake of the GMAT for those (if you get a 700+ score, I would feel much better about your chances) but it is not a must if your application is top notch (if you work with a professional on them, for example).

Additionally, your post MBA is a bit too vague. In order for the schools to see you as a more attractive candidate it would also help if you could make that more precise and clear. (I realize it might already be and you just didn't go into depth here, but it will be important to really nail that part too when applying)

Good luck!
