Yesterday I took GMAT and got 690 [Q48,V35,IR6].I am not able to decide whether I should go ahead with the applications or retake the test. Also, I am not able to shortlist my target schools. My criteria for school selection are ROI, Job after MBA/placement of international students and college rankings (top colleges).

Hi there,

Well it really depends upon where you DO want to go, and how much you feel you could possibly improve if you re-took the GMAT... if you've scored quite a bit higher on practice tests I'd say give it another shot, not a lot to lose... worse case you can cancel and nowadays your cancellation is not even reported. But if you don't think you'd improve much that's a different story. At the moment I'd say aim for schools say in the 15-30 or so range on US News rankings.. but not sure what country or geography you are even interested in, and there are many factors to consider when assessing schools. Good luck to you!
