Profile Eval for MIM HEC

by pkhairnar6 » Tue Mar 10, 2020 7:29 am
Hi everyone,

I have my sights set on getting into the MIM at HEC Paris. My profile goes as such:

Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (#1 for IE, GPA: 3.05)
Transferred from University of Texas at Arlington (same program, GPA: 3.97)
GMAT: 710 (Q50,V37)
Work experience: Internship in Daimler Financial Services in Risk Management (6 months)
Analyst in a Rotation program in NCR Corporation for 1.5 years-ongoing with experience in Big Data, Software Asset Management and Professional Services
Outside of work and school: I am a mountaineer, avid outdoorsman, have summitted Kilimanjaro, currently active on the 7 Summits challenge, climbing the highest peak on each continent (very well known in the mountain world) and training to climb Mt. Elbrus, Europe's highest, in June. Also have climbed many other prominent mountains across North America.
Volunteered as a Instructor for Backpacking in college outdoors recreation department.

Aim to do double degree in TU Munich, use my experience and the double degrees to work in automotive manufacturers' management to gain more experience and knowledge. Bring it back home and implement strategies and with it new ideas and technologies to bolster my father's business, working to increase it's scale and modernity.

What are my chances of getting in in the last round? Other applications are going to LBS, ESADE and Bocconi. Any inputs on these schools will be helpful too.

Let me know if I am missing any info.
