This is to help all people who want to start their GMAT preparation. Please don't fall for the 700+ CLASSIC Princeton Review gimmick in India. No matter what do not consider it a test prep company as they are willing to delude gullible people for a puny sum of Rs 25000/= by letting them believe that they can teach for GMAT. They do not even cover the basics that are required to score in the 700 range.
If anyone needs more information on Princeton Review/ Manya Group scam in India you may get in touch with me. Please inform anyone who is deciding about test prep company to not to fall into Princeton/Manya group trap in India.

What is the scam? That they can't teach, aren't familiar with the GMAT or have poor test prep materials?

although i am not looking for a course i would say that at BTG We prefer to have honest opinions from students . This matters a lot to some students . We would not like to have PR activities since they can be misleading. It somehow feels strange that you joined BTg just to write about how you felt about the course .

This is getting funnier by the minute. Suddenly all PR students in India are coming up to show their support. All on the same day!!
I don't know if this will increase their credibility or decrease it, I am just sure of one thing I could have joined PR after the initial thread and complaint from one student. But seeing this well coordinated response from PR I don't think I will ever even think about it.

Hey Guys,
I don't know anything about how PR works in India. I am just responding because I see a lot of activity in this thread. I request you guys not to make any inferences just based on what some one has written and post your own conclusions as if you are sure. Don't spoil the sanctity of these forums by posting such baseless comments.

Hey Frankenstein!
Please think before calling a claim baseless. I have enrolled with them and had the nightmare of my life hence i have clearly written that if somebody wants to know more they can contact me. Princeton Review in india is damaging the careers of people who aspire excellent management education by making them believe that they are prepared to take the test and score in 700's. They themselves say that we will teach you "TIPS & TRICKS" to ace GMAT. I fell for their claim as a noob to later discover that GMAT cannot be aced by a bunch of "TIPS AND TRICKS". For example if you take their course they will teach you tricks like back solving and plugging in the answers and make you feel that you are prepared to take the test. They wont even talk about the concepts that are tested in the 700's for they neither have that body of knowledge not are will to invest time coaching a person who is looking for a higher score. However, my experience tells me that GMAT is not a Joke and to ace the test you need be CRYSTAL clear with all your concepts and need to have built the mind muscle around those concepts, facing the problems head on rather than trying some tricks. GMAT is not a "TRICK" that can be solved by tricks and tips. They are blatantly misleading people to believe that they have done all that can be done to achieve the score they desire and its time to move on with whatever 580-610 they get. Gullible people believe that its the best they can get and fall into their trap in which they sell them admissions counseling package & choose sub standard institutions which pay them commissions to send students. Whey they never tell anyone is that a great GMAT score is an actual possibility only for people who know what to work on and how to work upon. Hence, Princeton Review India is a blemish on the name of testprep company and spirit of teaching and learning.
Feel free to ask anything about the horrid experience one could have if they enroll with Princeton Review fraud, scam.

Hey Abhi!
You are right coz their book does not say 700+ in bold blowups like the ones they have put in class rooms to fool gullible people. The people who are learning crippled concepts that cannot lead to 700 even in someone's dream....

At the outset I would like to introduce myself as a representative of Manya Group. We believe Beat the GMAT is an excellent forum for MBA aspirants that strives to get out authentic information to its readers. Therefore, I am confident that the forum will play fair and allow me to post a response to ashish1354.
Ashish1354, if you are indeed our student then do contact us and allow us to help you. You seem to be unhappy with your preparation, and as per our satisfaction guarantee policy, you are eligible to take any amount of additional help from us. We are happy to help you, but we need to be positive. TPR is too big a brand to exist to delude gullible people.
For all readers, I am attaching the email ids of 3 Bangalore students (not more for want of space and time) who have been very kind to let us publicly post their contact details. Their experience, as readers will find, has been completely contrasting. GMAT preparation requires hard work and dogged determination! Our Booster and Excelerator programs are geared to move scores from 600 to a 700 + level..Our course is a 60 hour program, with unlimited extra help and complimentary score boosting sessions for all who cross 600 on the mock tests during the course.
We would only want people to make their decisions judiciously and check out the veracity by personally visiting the centers and talking to several people rather than basing their decisions on 1 or 2 posts. There are several prep options and self study options available in the country today. Research and pick what convinces you the most.
Shyam Beriwal - GMAT 750, Indiranagar center ( [email protected])
Sanish Fernandez - GMAT 760, Koramangala center ( [email protected])
Suman Das - GMAT 730, Indiranagar center ( [email protected])
For people who are skeptical, please contact us and we can share the telephone numbers of several students who have benefitted from the GMAT program.
