in A once thought to be is could be assumed both for farm animals and achieving a consistency of bla bla bla. so it is ambiguous.
in B achieving farm animals is the focus point and is sort of distorting the meaning.
C is ok and does not have the problem mentioned in a
D it is also a distortion in the meaning, it is focusing on achievement of farm animals and not the consistency
in E again the problem is the same as in C and I think achieve of sth at is not correct.
