GMAT Prep 2 D.S. -- Inequality/absolute value

by jo777 » Mon Nov 17, 2008 7:18 pm
If y >= 0, what is the value of x?

1) |x-3| >= y

2) |x-3| =< -y

Answer is B, but I have no idea why. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

indeed the question is not the same but chk the last explanation by Ian in that post. it clearly mentions that the question has a typo. In stmt 2 it says greater than but it should be less than as the question above.
