Pam and Ed are in a line to purchase tickets. How many people are in the line?
(1) There are 20 people behind Pam and 20 people in front of Ed.
(2) There are 5 people between Pam and Ed.

No information is given regarding PAM and ED's position in respect to each other so, I will just go with E.

Two cases:
1. Pam in front of Ed: 35 ppl (1...14,P,16,....20,E,22,....35)
2. Ed in front of Pam:47 ppl (1,..20,E,22,...,26,P,28,...,47)

Possible number: between 35 and 47
