Discounts

by kath_the_great4 » Tue Oct 28, 2008 9:04 pm
Henry purchased 3 items. He received a 20% discount off the price of the most expensive item and a 10% discount off each of the other 2 items. Was the total amount of the 3 discounts greater than 15% of the sum of the total of the 3 discounts?

1) Regular price of the most expensive item was 50$ and 20$ for the next most expensive item.

2) The price of the least expensive item was 15$
