Covered with low shrubs, the quality of the land along the seashore is sandy and unsuitable for agricultural use.
a) same
b) Coverd with low shrubs, the land along the seashore is sandy and unsuitable for agriculture
c) The land along the seashore, covered with low shrubs, is sandy and has a quality unsuitable for agricultural use
d) the land along the seashore is covered with low shrubs, sandy and is unsuitable for agriculture
e) The quality of the land along the seashore, covered with low shrubs, is sandy and unsuitable for agricultural use.
the answer is E but I chose B
I thought E was incorrect because it the modifier "covered with low shrubs" does not clearly link with land, which it is supposed to modify, whereas in B, it seems more clear. And i did not think the phrase "The quality of the land....is sandy" made sense.
Can anyone help me understand this?

I accept this pointandes1 wrote:IS E... REMEMBER COMMA CAN BE USED TO GIVE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
But I think land is unsuitable and not the quality of land
quality of land can be bad which can make land unsuitable.
