Here the best way is taking 19 as a common factor as follows: $$\frac{19^2+19}{20}=\frac{19\left(19+1\right)}{20}=\frac{19\cdot20}{20}=19.$$ This way, we get the answer straightforward. Hence, the correct answer is the option C.
I hope this explanation may help you.

The two terms in the numerator have a common factor of 19. Factoring it and simplifying, we have:VJesus12 wrote:$$\frac{19^2+19}{20}=$$ A. 19/10
B. 57/20
C. 19
D. 38
E. 361
19(19 + 1)/20 = 19(20)/20 = 19
