So, in 3 weeks, the amount the family paid for lawn-moving = (3 weeks)($11/week) = $33
...the family paid $4 per DAY to feed and walk their dog...
3 weeks = 21 DAYS
So, the amount the family paid for dog care = (21 days)($4/day) = $84
TOTAL amount paid = $33 + $84 = $117
Answer: E
Cheers,
Brent
Notice that
1. Family paid $11 per week to mow their lawn.
2. Family paid $4 per day to feed their cows.
Requirement:
To find out the total cost of the family during 3 weeks trips.
\(3*11 = 33\)
\(21*4 = 84\)
\((33+84) = \$117\)
Hence, __E__ is the correct answer.
