We have to find out the value fo F/S.
Let's take each statement one by one.
1) The number of cups of flour required in the recipe is 250% of the number of cups of sugar required in the recipe.
=> F = 250% of S
F/S = 250/100. Sufficient.
2) 1 1/2 more cups of flour than cups of sugar are required in the recipe.
=> F = 1.5 + S.
Can't get the unique value of F/S. Insufficient.
The correct answer: A
Hope this helps!
