Pat Kat and Mark charged a total of 162 hours to a certain project. If Pat charged twice as much as Kate and a 1/3 as much as Mark. How many hours did Mark charge to the project?
Let Kate charge x
Therefore Pat Charges 2x
Let Mark charge y; 2x = y/3 or y = 6x
x+2x+6x = 162
9x = 162
Therefore x = 162/9 = 18
Mark charges 18*6 = 108
Let Kate charge x
Therefore Pat Charges 2x
Let Mark charge y; 2x = y/3 or y = 6x
x+2x+6x = 162
9x = 162
Therefore x = 162/9 = 18
Mark charges 18*6 = 108

The answer is 108.
Mark charged 108
Pat charged 36
Kat charged 18
108+36+18 = 108
90 is wrong.
P + P/2 + 3P = 162
p = 36
M = 3P = 108
Mark charged 108
Pat charged 36
Kat charged 18
108+36+18 = 108
90 is wrong.
P + P/2 + 3P = 162
p = 36
M = 3P = 108
