Let's take each statement one by one.
(1) The coordinates of point M are (5, 0).
=> OM = 5. We already know this. Moreover, we do not need this information. Insufficient.
(2) The coordinates of point N are (0, −4).
=> ON = y = -4. Sufficient.
The correct answer: B
