Statement 1:
Case 1: m=0, j=0, k=0
In this case, j+k = 0+0 = 0
Case 2: m=0, j=0, k=1
In this case, j+k = 0+1 = 1
Since j+k can be different values, INSUFFICIENT.

Statement 2:
Dividing both sides of the equation by 5, we get:
j+k = 2.
SUFFICIENT.

The correct answer is B.
