If p = 3q, is p^2 > q^2 ?

(1) q + p < q - p

(2) p^2 = 9q^2

The OA is the option A.

I don't understand the question. Also, how can I use the statements given? I'm really confused.

Could anyone help me, please?

Hope you've considered p = q = 0.

Hope this helps!
