Firstly, the king of Scotland should modify Robert which is done only in the sentence C , a modifier should be placed close to the noun it modifies
Secondly, the usage of due to is wrong in the sentence. According to the gmat due to= caused by , so if you want to check whether due to is right , replace it with caused by.
lastly, repetition of 'these victories' is redundant.
answer is C.
