Hello BTGmoderatorLU.

Let's take a look at your question.

We need to find a two-digit number x, such that the product of its digits is 12. The options are:

i) 26
ii) 34
iii) 43
iv) 62

We need to find which of the previous numbers is the correct one.

First statement
(1) The units digit of x is a prime number.
This tells us that the options (i) and (ii) are out. But, we can't determine what is the correct choice between (iii) and (iv). So, not sufficient.

Second statement
(2) x is even.
This tells us that the option (iii) is out. But, again we can't determine which one of the other 3 numbers is the correct one. So, not sufficient.

First + Second statement
(1) The units digit of x is a prime number.
(2) x is even.
Using both statements we get that the options (i), (ii) and (iii) are out. Therefore, the number x is equal to 62. So, sufficient.

Thus, the correct answer is the option C.

I hope it helps you.
