Is xy<6?
1) x<2
2) y<3
The OA is the option E.
If we use both statements we get xy<6. Am I wrong? Could anyone clarify this to me? Thanks in advance.

Case 1: x=0 and y=0
In this case, xy < 6.
Case 2: x=-10 and y=-10
in this case, xy > 6.
Since the answer is YES in Case 1 but NO in Case 2, the two statements combined are INSUFFICIENT.
The correct answer is E.
