using 1)the numbers could be from 33 to 35

33=11*3 or 35=7*5

even using 2) no specific fixed answer

since we dont have specific answer how could QAS is A .

Well you are absolutely right in your interpretation but this is a yes or no question not a value question.

The question simply asks is p a prime number or not?

1) 31 < p < 37
32 = 16*2
33 = 11*3
34 = 17*2
35 = 5*7
36 = 6*6 or 9*4
Hence, p is not a prime number, Sufficient.

2) p is odd
it does not tell us anything about p, prime numbers can be odd integers and non prime numbers can also be odd integers. Insufficient.

Thus, A is the answer.
