Alice spends half of her shopping budget on shoes and 20% of her shopping budget on shirts, while Bob spends 20% of his budget on shoes and 8% of his budget on shirts. If no further purchases were made by either of Alice or Bob, How much did Alice spend in the new mall?

(1) Together, Alice and Bob bought shoes for $600.
(2) Together, Alice and Bob bought shirts for $240.

The OA is the option E.

Experts, with both statements, can't I get an answer? I am confused here. Can you give me some help? Thanks.
