A Straight Line is formed using two points A(3,3) and B(6,6). Another point P(x,y) lies between A and B such that AP/BP=10. The coordinates of P are?

A. (5,5)
B. (61/11, 61/11)
C. (63/11, 63/11)
D. (36/11, 36/11)
E. (58/11, 58/11)

The OA is C.

I don't have clear this PS question, I appreciate if any expert explain it for me.

Is there a strategic approach to this question? Thank you so much.

I don't think there is any strategic approach. we have to use the formula
This is a simple coordinate geometry formula for a pont (x,y) dividing a line joining points (a1,b1) and
(a2,b2 ) in the ratio m:n and the coordinates are
X=(ma2+na1)/(m+n)
Y=(mb2+nb1)/(m+n)
Here a1=3 b1=3 a2=6 b2=6 and m=10, n=1
Applying these values we get
X=(10x6+1x3)/(10+1)=63/11 Y=(10x6+1x3)/(10+1)=63/11
Hence option C is correct
