The OA is B.

Please, can any expert explain this PS question for me? I have many difficulties to understand why that is the correct answer. Thanks.

Let's take a look at your question.

Let John's monthly wage is '$x'.
15 percent of John's monthly wage is $25, it can be represented as:
$$\left(x\right)\left(15\%\right)=25$$
$$\left(x\right)\left(\frac{15}{100}\right)=25$$
$$x=25\times\frac{100}{15}$$
$$x=5\times\frac{100}{3}$$
$$x=\frac{500}{3}=166\ \frac{2}{3}$$

Therefore, Option B is correct.

If we let w = John's monthly wage, we can create the following equation:

25 = 0.15w

25/0.15 = w

166 2/3 = w

Answer: B
