Hey there,
So you have a very interesting and very nice profile. TONS of experience, a PhD and lots of patents. I can totally understand how you want to get into the management side of things, and I am wondering if an EMBA might not be the better path for you - the program is shorter and more directed, your classmates will be about your age, and overall it seems to be a more fitting program for you then to go with 25-26 year olds who are looking for a first managerial role.

Additionally, the admissions tend to be easier/more flexible than full-time programs, so even if you score low on the GMAT you have a good shot at these schools. That way you can also prepare your GMAT in a bit less time and make it in for 2017.

What do you think?

JF

Thanks Jon.

1. As correctly said I'm also looking in to EMBA programs only.

2. On this note could you please let me know what schools I stand a chance of getting in to.

3. What is the latest date I should look to writing GMAT for 2017 admissions

4. I'm from India (international) what is the cost of EMBA ?

5. Any partial tuition waiver in form of scholarships or sponsorships available.

6. Could Admissinonado provide me counseling if I decide to apply.

Please let me know

Regards,
Vivek M

Vivek,
If you hit a 700+ on the GMAT you could probably apply to ANY of the EMBA programs out there. The costs vary wildly, so I would suggest checking them on a school by school basis. As far as tuition waver - it's very uncommon in EMBAs as the majority of people either pay their way or get company sponsorship.

The deadlines for EMBA programs in the US are the same more or less as for the regular programs, although you can also apply later. But say, aim to apply by beginning of January 2017 latest.

And finally, of course we can help! We help lots of folks with EMBA programs, and it would be a good opportunity to get to know you better.
