A and C: thousands...is in danger
Here, is (singular) does not agree with thousands (plural).
Eliminate A and C.

Correct idiom: in danger OF doing Y.

In D, in danger to undergo is unidiomatic.
Eliminate D.

In E, in danger for undergoing is unidiomatic.
Eliminate E.

The correct answer is B.
