MBA programs in Germany

by arrastra » Fri Nov 07, 2014 10:24 pm
Hi ,
Please suggest some German MBA programs that I can target with a GMAT score of 640 .
I have more then 4 yrs of work experience with an Indian MNC.
Also, please provide some information about the job prospects for a non German speaking professional after completion of the program.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You can target B-Schools like Mannheim, ESMT. These two are well known schools globally. Also consider HHL Leipzig, WHU Beisheim. Job prospects for non German speaking professional will be difficult without knowledge of German language, most of the placements happen inside Germany and Europe.

Pretty much what he said - but you may be able to find jobs in IT with just English to start with if you are good enough.

Good luck!

I don't know any programs in Germany, but a quick google search will probably do the trick.

HI All,

I want information about the Job prospects post completion of the course and also the time we can stay beyond our student visa to land a job?
i have a work ex of 30 months approx and did my graduation from a university which taught me German language for 4 years. I have a certificate for the same. This should certainly brighten my chances in terms of application and job prospect? right?
Any help would be appreciated. :)

Well, I don't know about the certificate.. but can you speak? Can you not speak? I mean the company will interview you. Obviously ANY knowledge of German at all is an advantage, but the real difference comes in when you can work in German on a daily basis.

Best,
JF
