Hi,

I did gave GMAT once and got a low score. I have given GRE and got a 315.

I have 6 years of Experience and I am targeting for a MBA.

Meanwhile do you reckon it is too late for a masters in some managerial subjects?

Regards
Rajath

Not really sure what you are asking about here. Can you please clarify so I can give a better response?

It is not too late for you to pursue and MBA or take courses in preparation for an advanced degree.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I am looking at applying to MBA colleges with the GRE score.
I also wanted to convey that I am looking at a Masters in subjects like ''operations management'' ''Engineering Management'' etc where there is a mix of both technical and managerial subjects. But I believe these courses are offered as MS. I had this apprehension if my work-ex is too much/over qualified to pursue a masters.

Please guide

Your work experience is just fine. You might be a little above average in the number of years of experience, but you will be in a position to get into a program.

Good luck!

Hi Rajath,

You have decent profile with strong work ex, you can consider applying to both MBA (Operations) and MS programs. You can also target MEM (Engineering Mamagement programs)Try Chances of B-school tool to assess your chances for top B-Schools visit https://goo.gl/11s5zu

Hi thanks to the both of you.

Just to add a few more queries.

1. I have heard that h1b visa process is getting more tougher. Though I am passionate about higher studies money is also equally important. So finding a job there is also a concern for me (married and have a kid).
2. Which is the top university for Engineering management or MIS.
