Targeting US bschools for Fall 2015 (Top 15 - Top 35) , Schulich, Ivey, NUS , Nanyang and ISB . Also will not be able to pursue the US MBA program in case I do not have substantial scholarship. My maximum MBA budget is 35-40 lakhs.

Thanks much.

Hi ankushtulips,

Thank you for your post!

You have a very competitive GMAT score for the programs on your list. In terms of your academics, the adcoms will only be focused on your undergraduate degree and any graduate work. In regards to your work experience, it's great that you have some direct management experience to highlight. You will also want to quantify your impact (revenues gained, efficiency achieved) so the adcom may get a better sense of the scope of your work. It looks like you could also highlight your international experience in Mexico and the elements of entrepreneurship and teambuilding involved-these are highly valued skills in b-school.

In terms of room for improvement, you may seek some community leadership outside of work. It's great that you are involved at Amdocs; however, the adcom will want to see that you are capable of leading and motivating others outside of your comfort zone. You'll also want to consider taking up other active hobbies; the adcoms will want to see that you would engage fellow students and participate in campus activities, as opposed to a solitary activity, such as blogging.
