Where to take the GMAT Maths tests?

by rohitgmat » Fri Mar 21, 2014 4:21 pm
Hi Folks,

I will be completing my GMAT quant in few days from now. I want to take the practice tests or simulation tests to analyze my skill. Can anyone suggest any good practice tests?

Hi rohitgmat,

The most realistic way to assess your ability on the GMAT is to take a full-length practice CAT (not just one section of it). Since you have to complete the Essay and IR sections before you take the Quant section, it's important to look at how you do on each section "in context" of how you do on the entire test. You have to test your endurance as well as your Quant skills (and Verbal skills) to know if you're truly ready to take the GMAT.

Have you taken any practice CATs yet? If not, then you can get 2 for free from www.mba.com.

Hi rohitgmat,

Any additional CATs that you might use are dependent on your study schedule and timeline. When do you plan to take your Official GMAT?

Personally, I recommend saving the limited number of official CAT exams. Maybe take one of the third party exams or the diagnostic in the OG to get an idea of where you stand.
