Hi sgr21,
This is NOT a GMAT question, but the solution is a letter-number cypher:
ABCDEFGHI corresponds to:
123456789
and then the number cycle repeats:
JKLMNOPQR
123456789
and repeats again:
STUVWXYZ
12345678
So, DRAMATIC is 49141293
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

sgr21,
If you are seriously preparing for the GMAT, I strongly suggest that you work with official GMAT questions. 3rd party questions vary in quality, and the source of this question is particularly poor if it intends to simulate GMAT Quant.
3rd Party content has its place, in particular in helping you understand concepts, but beware if you use it as your primary practice resource.
