Where can i apply with 670 (v38,q44)

by Likhitavasthi » Thu Aug 29, 2013 8:18 pm
I have scored 670 (v38,q44). I have a work experience of 8 years. I am a masters in finance. My overall experience includes finance background, general management exposure and entrepreneur stints. I am keen on a one year MBA In Europe in finance or management or an international mba.
What all B schools can i or should i target?

Hi Likhitavasthi,

As per your profile and GMAT Score I would suggest you to target the below mentioned European business schools which are good into finance and have good placement record.

1) IE Business School
2) IESE Business School
3) IMD and
4) St. Gallen

Hope that solves your query.

Feel free to write if you have further queries.

technically you can apply anywhere your heart desires! You could apply to any school with even a 500. Now the chances of getting accepted are must lower with a 500, obviously, but a GMAT score of any kind doesn't mean you can't apply to places.
My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

You have a low GMAT score. Your work experience is on the higher side.
With the limited information you have provided about your profile, I would suggest you to apply to the following business schools:
1. Oxford
2. Cambridge
3. HEC Paris
4. IE or IESE

Give a detailed information regarding your profile like undergrad GPA, work experience and extracurricular activities. then, we will be able to give an accurate assessment of your application. I think you should also consider applying to some US schools.

Good Luck!
