Select True/False question

by vinni.k » Tue Sep 03, 2013 8:42 am
For each of the following statements, select True if the statement can be verified as true based on the information in the table. Otherwise, select False.

Question is: There is a positive correlation between the number of public museums and the number of visitors per year.

My answer is false but OA is True.

My reasoning for this question: Thrice in the graph the "number of visitors per year" drop while the number of public museum increases. I have marked it above. So, can you please help me in understanding how it is a positive correlation ? Am I missing something ?

Thanks & Regards
Vinni

What is the source of this question?

One need not to look at all the values, but what is trend in general.
In this question, as the public museums are increasing, the no. of visitors/year is also increasing.
So, the answer is True.
