Hi pulin,

Your CAT scores show a level of consistency in your performance, and it's a good performance, but not at the level that you want it to be. You've scored as well as you can with the materials that you have, but to pick up another 80+ points, you're going to need some professional help. With only 12 days to go, you might consider pushing back your test a few weeks. With that extra time, you could invest in some new materials. I'd suggest that you spend a month with the EMPOWERgmat course, working primarily on the Verbal Modules and the Tactics Modules. Then take your test. Your goal is absolutely within reach, you just have to do a little more work to reach it.

Hi pulin,

With your latest CAT score, your verbal performance is considerably better than in any of your prior CATs. This COULD mean:

1) You've been studying and the work that you're putting into the section is paying off.
2) You changed some aspect of the practice test (time of day, removed outside distractions, etc.) which led to a stronger performance on your part.
3) You got "lucky". During the Verbal section, some Test Takers get into the bad habit of "narrowing the answers down to 2 and then guessing." The problem with this approach is that on certain days, all of your "guesses" will be correct, but on other days, all of your "guesses" will be incorrect. This can lead to a big swing in your score.

My advice is to review this CAT and figure out what "worked" for you, then try to repeat it in practice problems, etc. Don't take another CAT for a little while; instead, go back and review the older CATs, redo the questions and see if you can repeat this stronger performance.

Ya ok i'll do that
But according to me my concentration level is higher in the last MGMAT compared with the older ones.
I was less stressed. I would consider it the reason mainly but ya I cannot be sure of this.
Can you please tell me difference in the levels of verbal section of MGMAT and the real GMAT.

Hi,
I gave my last MGMAT mock - 710 43Q, 44V
obv not happy with my Quant score but not much worried about it.
Can anyone please tell me what should I infer from these scores. I have my GMAT on 13 aug.
How much variation can I expect?
And also which schools should I apply at the time of exam??
Can anyone please tell me good B-Schools in ranges 650-670 & 680-700 in US/UK/Singapore. I wanna apply in both of these ranges just to be sure.

Thanks in anticipation
