Advice Needed, test in one week

by sknarla » Sun Jun 30, 2013 6:45 pm
I have been studying for the GMAT for a while and have been scoring in the 90th percentile for verbal pretty consistently. I decided to focus on the Quantitative section and I was able to improve to Q50 on my most recent test, however my verbal score surprisingly dropped with almost all of missed question in the sentence correction area.

Any advice on how to improve my score the most? Should write off the verbal as a fluke and focus on quant or switch the focus back to verbal?

Here is my score breakdown -

Manhattan GMAT - 670 (Q42 V40)

Manhattan GMAT - 710 (Q44 V41)

GMAT - 700 (Q44 V40)

GMATPrep - 720 (Q48 V41)

GMATPrep - 720 (Q50 V38)

Hi sknarla - obviously we spotted your query too late to be of help - how did your test go? A 50Q is pretty impressive! Did you end up scoring that high on your exam?

We're betting you nailed it - let us know how it went!
