Are the Official Guide questions simpler than the actual GMAT questions?

Great question. All questions from the Official Guides are from real, retired GMAT exams, so they will give you a good idea of what to expect on the exam. But as Jim points out, the GMAT exam is computer-adaptive so you won't necessarily see questions of all difficulty levels during the exam. That is why it is important to also take computer-adaptive practice exams. Good luck!
