Hello,
I recently read a comment regarding the importance (or lack there of) of the Verbal supplement offered by GMAC.
From what I understand, the Verbal supplement consists of Official Guide 10 (Clearly an older edition) problems.
Is there a consensus opinion regarding the importance of the Verbal supplement to one's studies (specifically Sentence Correction)?

Hey Mo,
The book is decidedly NOT made up of 10th edition questions. Many of the questions are original to that book. Plus, no one is using the 10th edition anymore, and some of the questions might even be considered obsolete, so even if it were true that the V-guide is made up of those, it would at least be made up of the most useful (and the 10th edition isn't available new anymore anyway). So I don't really see how it would matter anyway.
In my opinion, all the OGs (all 3 of them, I mean) are critical. Do not go back to old editions. They have a lot of questions in common with the newer ones, only in a scrambled order.

Clearly, I would not go out and buy the 10th Edition.
It would matter because of obsolescence and "Quality versus Quantity".
"so even if it were true that the V-guide is made up of those, it would at least be made up of the most useful". <---- Good point though...
Thanks for your time,

Also because of "versioning" (Although GMAC is not-for-profit).
