Today I appeared for GMAT and Tentative score is 480 {Quant : 44 and Verbal :15} . I was trying fro around 550-600. I have 10 years exp in Software Testing and Planning for MBA.
Please suggest if any change of getting Univesities from Bay Area ,California.I was Targeting for SantaClara University and San Jose State University .

Honestly, you may want to think about improving your verbal... 15 is pretty low and may cause some problems even at schools with average GMAT scores around yours.

Srihari -- We'll need to bring that verbal score up... that's going to be a red-flag in your application. I'd encourage you to try to take at least one or two good practice exams and read Stacey's article -- https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2011/02/ ... sts-part-1 -- and use that as a way to more specifically focus on the places that are giving you the most challenge on the exam.
