Folks,
I just kicked off day 1 of studying for my GMAT-- I took the Kaplan 2005 diagnostic test, and got a 570!, so I took a (well deserved?) break and found this site.

FYI -this resource is superb, and helped me understand, and sift through what's important and what isn't -- so thank you.

I was going through the forums, and could not find too much discussion about the wet erase booklet provided during the actual exam. I'm looking to purchase a similar booklet and pen to what I would expect during writing of the GMAT. Sounds kind of anal, but I don't want any surprises on test day. Has anyone purchased something similar, or have recommendations of where I could?

Thanks,
Tony

very cool -- thanks folks!

I will troll the internet for a "one spiral-bound packet of 5 pieces of legal sized (8.5 x 14 inches) yellow laminated graph paper and one pen". I will let you know where you can buy something like this online, unless someone has already gone through the effort....

Tony,
I think there was some discussion about this a while back--you might want to runs some searches on this forum first.

Otherwise, we'd love to hear what you find! Thanks!

I bought the wet erase book you can find at this link:

https://www.gettingtogradschool.com/MBA- ... terial.htm

If the link doesn't work, just go to the website and search around. I am a lefty so I wanted to make sure I could use this without making a mess.

I practice taking the entire verbal or quant section in it, knowing that the actual one has another page and is bigger.

You can also create it yourself! You can get Kinko's to laminate the paper and spiral bind it for you and then just buy the pen at an Office Depot or something like that.

Oh - and forgot to add - if you're a lefty, it's fine. The paper is spiral bound along the top, not the left-hand side.
