by red217 » Mon Nov 12, 2012 4:04 pm
i am encountering difficulty with the data sufficiency questions. no matter how much effort i put into i find that half of my answers are wrong. i am currently using manhattans guide set and OG. please suggest a way to better understand the concept of data sufficiency questions.

It's important to note that everyone struggles with Data Sufficiency (DS) questions at first. This bizarre question type is totally unique to the GMAT, so it's foreign territory. Keep in mind that your experience with Problem Solving questions spans many years; your experience with Data Sufficiency questions is considerably shorter. It'll take some time to master this question type.

If you're looking for some extra DS resources, we have a free set of videos covering everything you need to know: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gmat-data-sufficiency

Cheers,
