Goal: Want to get into new media VC, and possibly start my own business.
My UG GPA/GMAT are not very good.
I want to try for the top schools (Col/Chi/Wharton/Stanford) Any chance, or am I dead in the water?
Do i have a shot?

Hi MBAMan11,
I would say that you are absolutely not "dead in the water" and that I'd need more information to really do a full assessment of your profile, re: more detail about your short and long term goals than just VC, how you've advanced at your job, your extra-curricular interests, etc. I do think that you should also consider some safer schools on your list. If you're looking at CBS and Wharton, then why not NYU Stern? Or Duke or UNC? I think that it absolutely makes sense to expand your list and to do some specific research on what you're looking for, in terms of a program and how more schools might fit your needs.
Feel free to contact us at [email protected] for free initial assessment of your profile.
Best,
Deena
