S12-21 In the rectangular coordinate system, if line L is parallel to one of the axes, does line L contain the point (4, 5) ?

(1) Line L contains the point (4, -5).
(2) Line L crosses the x-axis.

(1) Line can contain (4,-5) and paralel to y and does not contain (4,5) or can be paralel to x and can contain (4,5) NS
(2) Line crosses x axis doesn't mean anything by itself
but if we use it together answer is no and
Answer is C

If we use both, answer is "YES".
If it contains (4,-5) and cuts through x axis, it has to be parallel to y axis. So the equation of line will be x=4 which will contain the point (4,5).
