B is wrong because the relationship intended in the question is not causal. Sentence doesn't intend to discuss WHY the block of multimedia text differs from a paragraph. The sentence intends to tell HOW a block of multimedia text differs from a paragraph.

In fact, in option B, the term 'since' is used to mean 'because', but still it is wrong.
