Hi

I have a work experience of 1.5 years(till date) which includes 6 months of work-ex in a BPO(Tech-Support) and 1 year in a AON (on the technical side). I am really confused as I am not sure when to give GMAT as I want to get into the 2013 session, keeping in mind I am yet to start with my GMAT preperation. Keeping 2013 in my mind I will be completing 2 years of work-ex in all by end of this year.

So what would be the best time for me to give GMAT if I am targetting to get enrolled for the 2013 session(given I will be starting my preparation in August 2012). And what are the time of admissions that universities generally start enrolling students for their courses.

Please advice....!!

Many Thanks in advance.

If you want to start classes in the fall of 2013, then you should apply this fall. Therefore, you should be planning to take the GMAT within the next few months at the latest.

If your goal is to get enrolled in the class of 2013, you should begin preparing for GMAT as soon as you can. However, the average work experience for most B-schools is 4-5 years, so you may want to consider waiting for one more year and make your profile stronger.

Whether you apply this year or next year, it still makes sense to take your GMAT this year.

I hope it helped.

Take the GMAT ASAP so you'll have time to improve if needed.
