Well, we need really a bit more info on what you have actually done, and what extras you have to really evlaute your chances.
Now you know that your profile is one of the tougher ones - a bit older, from a relatively large pool (Asian Americans) in an industry where there are tons of candidates (IT). Soooo you will need to make yourself STAND OUT.
There two ways:
1. Be the best - meaning show lots of leadership, lots of acheivments, lots of awards, lots of promotions, etc.
2. Be DIFFERENT- Have a unique vision, unique hobbies, never heard before stories, be funny, curious in your essays.
And of course, a better score on the GMAT will go a looong way for Top programs.
